I have a full 2.5 inch exhaust with no cats or resonators and its not too loud at all. Sounds alot like a SRT-4 with minor upgrades.
I agree.... aside from a little popping when coming of boost, she sounds perfect and deep with my 2.5 inch dowpipe back exhaust from ZPI... although, you gotta be running F/I to do it... N/A without a cat or resonator isn't peachy.

Yeah...I was running a Spipe back 2.5 no cats or resonators and it sounded like crap. I couldnt imagine how bad it would sound with headers too. With the turbo I here the turbo sucking in air over the exhaust.

Nope....words cant decribe how good it sounds. I love the sound you get when you rev it and you can hear the turbo winding down through the rear of the exhaust.

Problem with the downpipe fabrication that damaged the turbo exhaust housing. Turbonetics is the ____ though. They took care of the problem asap, I sent out my turbo last night and they got me the new one this morning! Great service!

update on the 3" exhaust...just talked to Greg V. @ GSpec.com and said the project is still going forward. Fitment and testing should be around the corner as well as final pricing.
Sorry it's taking so long. The person making the exhaust is very maticulous which is good for the product but bad for expedited service. Rest assured that it will be an awesome exhaust with quality return...just a little more patience please

WARNING!!!!! you guys need to be verrryyy careful with a 3" s-pipe ........i speak from experience i had one custom made. it comes waaaayyy to close to the oil pan and the high heat output from the s-pipe cooked my oil and cracked the ring seats on the pistons ..... so now a rebuild later with custom pistons and rods and im running a wrapped 2.5 in. s-pipe and an oil cooler i am taking no chances

that is extremely good information...I want everyone to know that this issue was already addressed to G Spec and the 3" s-pipe will have enough clearance to avoid such a catastrophy. However, it is always recommended that the exhaust piping near an oil pan be wrapped in exhaust wrap to further prevent this from happening. Wrapping it will also aid in exhaust flow for those with lower boost levels.

UPDATE:
production of the system has started and has an ETA of late October. Of course, dyno #, pics, vids, price, and anything else will be out before then.
G Spec will be offering special pricing to the first few takers of the system so get your cards ready...the first production 3" exhaust for the tC is near!!!
more updates as I get them

it will be from the downpipe back, so it will include the 3" s-pipe. You can contact Greg @ gspec.com and see about just getting the kit from the s-pipe back though to save some money if that's what your interest is.
