Or I can still use the .6 BAR spring and crank it up with a manual boost controller. Or should I go electronic? Anyway, you think I will be ok with 10 PSI?
the .6 bar should be good (8.7psi) but I would not go with a manual boost controller, personally. Turn that thing the wrong way once and BOOM!
spend the money and get an electric boost controller.
Ok, I will look into them. My options are the GReddy Profec EO-1 or the A'pexi AVC-R II, which is better?

And do you think 10 PSI with good tuning is ok for the motor?

this is true along with a few other EBC's but theres a select few out there that will work wonders on a setup like yours...you definitely need a scramble feature to keep that power to the ground consistent. Theres nothing like being able to set boost levels thru different gears. 1st gear 6psi, 2nd gear 8 psi, 3rd gear 12 psi, 4-5th 14+ psi...thats whats real in the streets

im fixing to use the AEM boost control while the car is at T1 now. Gonna use the aem boost solenoid for boost by gear. Didnt have time to set up all the extra stuff when I was at the dyno last time so while its there we are setting up the goodies.

So, which EBCs have the scramble features and actually does a good job overall?

Really I like the dual or triple stage MBC from Turbo XS or Turbosmart. If I didnt have the AEM standalone thats what I'd go with my buddies 700whp civic uses the turbo smart dual stage flip of a switch and he can have 15psi or 30psi or you can be even more baller and get the triple stage and have like 5psi,10psi,15psi or how ever u want it. Im just not a EBC fan.

Apexi, Blitz sbc-id, world racing, HKS...just to name a few. Speak with paul or joe at dezod and they will help you out deciding whats right for you.

ohh yea, also, you may wanna start with a smaller wg spring like everyone else is telling you. You can always turn the boost up with a smaller spring, cant go backwards though...just some food for thought

So what is a scramble feature on a boost controller? I thought it upped the boost to a predetermined level for a short period of time. Am i mistaken? My AEM TruBoost gauge type controller says it has that feature.

I have used countless Profec B's. All have worked flawlessly as long as installed correctly. I personally like the AVCR for electronic units. It is the only one other than the uber expensive World Eletronics unit that allows RPM AND boost per gear changes. Works great and auto adjusts even.

If Dezod`s kit comes with a .7 BAR spring, then it should be ok. I really want 10 PSI, but will it be ok if I do great tuning on it??

have you replaced your clutch yet? Tuning is tricky, id go to someone that is extremely familiar with the ultimate and tuning tC's. How are you gonna tune the vehicle? Based off greddy pressure sensor?

You know, every car is different. It might be fine on 10psi with a good tune. But if you end up pushing over 300hp on 10psi, your block is not going to last very long. If you tune at 10psi and only make 280hp, you should be fine.
What issue are you having with getting a smaller spring? Do you just no want to pay for a boost controller?

Honestly, with you being in colorado (higher elevation) you probably wont' get 300hp at 10psi, so yeah, a good tune and you should be good.
I just think it would be beneficial to have the OPTION of lower boost just incase something is not running right at the higher boost level.
