middle pic bottom row looks like you may have a slight leak on the exhaust manifold gasket. Make sure they didn't try to re use your old one thats what they did with mine and i had a small leak there

I looked at the original pic and it looks like the metal is flat compared to the rest, making it look discolored. I'll check for sure tomorrow when I cleanup my engine bay a little.

You are right, it is the base map. After the disappointing dyno numbers, this remark and some others like it, I started to think maybe this was the base dyno sheet. Ok so they gave me the base dyno sheet instead of the final, no big deal. I then looked at the time the sheet said 4:42pm on the 16th and realized I was called a little after 5pm on the 16th to say it was done. So this morning I looked over the bill and saw no tune listed and it said "emanage has base map already installed". I picked up the phone and called them right away and left a message. They open at 11am so I'm still waiting for a call back. Oh yeah I paid the quoted price for a install and tune. This is real disappointing seeing as it's coming from a shop with such a good rep.

^^oops. Maybe they can squeeze a few more ponies out for you though. But generally, if it aint broke, don't fix it.

I don't think that's the issue here. I think it's more a case of charging him more than they should have. If they charged him for tuning, they'd better tune it.

He just said his bill did not have tunning on it.

Really? That's not how I read this:

^^then maybe I read it wrong. So, you paid the quoted price for an install and tune, but no price breakdown for tune was listed on the invoice?

I sent them an email over the weekend about the tq #'s not being on the sheet and called them this morning and left a message. I didn't get a call back but was sent an email reply for both email I sent and phone call I made. Here's what was said...

"Sometimes the torque #'s don't work. Its the pickup sensor that sometimes has issues on torque reading. Put the car on the dyno not sure what you meant on the tuning message you left me before. The car's tuned and should be running fine, I put that invoice together kinda quick and we ran the car off the base map that was provided in the E-manage and it ran fine."

To me that sounds like they installed the turbo and put the car on the dyno and it ran ok so made no adjustments. If they say it's fine then fine, but the point was I was charged $1900 for an install and a dyno run, not install and tune like it was supposed to be. I know if this car was tuned it could get 250whp but that's not really my main concern. The greddy base map isn't the best and I wanted the "best" to tune it the fastest they can while above all making it safe. If I wanted to run on the base map I could of had a weekend install party and it would only cost me food, drinks, and the cost of gas for giving rides.

Maybe I'll drive up to ZPI or RippMods. ZPI is closer and in about a week and a half I'll only be about 6hrs away instead of 15+hrs.

Any suggestions?

I forgot about them, I almost took it to them but there was too many people telling me titan. I think I'll give them a call and see if they're open friday.

Haven't heard back from titan yet on if they made any adjustment to justify a tune. I'm gonna get my new exhaust and head down to Japtrix and see what they can do for me but not till I come back from vacation.
