Won’t happen sorry to break the news to you! I am working in Iraq for a reason and the shop knows what they are doing. What you are referring to is a lot of uneducated people throwing parts together calling it an engine build which it isn't. Some people consider an engine build pistons, rods, cams, and few other parts there are way more things involved to fully build an engine not just slapping some parts in an engine and praying it works like it should. I am not saying everyone does this but it seems to happen too often.

No dibs on anything, will be good to go after shop builds it. This shop makes sure everything is good the first time, there is always a chance that something could happen but this is why they are the ones getting the parts after I send them money.

Also this is why I am on a standalone there are lots of fail safes it can be programmed for.

Standalones FTW!

Not yet just now ordered the coilovers and stroker. I am not sure the lead time on the stroker kit but I could imagine it might take up to a month give or take. Once I get pics I'll share.

Amen to that. Prior people equal Failures cause they thought they could do it themselves with hand tools out of the shed.

This build is different in a great aspect.....It's Professionally done...lol.

You know I got you back Nick. Keep in mind though, "If you build it, the haters will come".

That attitude is the reason why you might find yourself sitting at the back of the line.

Also that is why I am running 5 EGT's, one gauge so I know the temps and 4 probes connected directly to the standalone for individual cylinder control. With wideband and oil pressure gauge as well so I can identify problems early before they get worse or damage the engine.

The stroker kit, sleeves, turbo kit parts, coilovers, and misc parts are on order. Cause of the economy no one has parts sitting on the shelf they are manufactured once ordered or warehouse's are out of stock and awaiting shipment from Japan. Progress is still pressing forward just so you know.

my car went on dyno.. went to track and i had a build page..

IMO when people start a build on here SL users make recomendations and thats usually why they fail!

I stuck with my goal and it works!

Amen, stick to your guns. I pick and choose who I take advice from, and those people are usually Professionals or close friends.
