the trd supercharger will make noise at idle since the turbine spins at engine speed. if youve heard like a procharged camaro or soemthin ud hear it even more sounds amazing..nuttin to worry about...ull know a bearing noise when u hear it..

Okay, I brought it in to the dealer and they had a reasonable explanation for
the noise. The chirping is normal, I know. The main sound I was concerned
with is the Fart like noise when accelerating hard. They say this is due to
the air filter (which is stock) Bouncing up/down due to Lots more air flow,
real fast, like a guitar string. This makes me think more of getting a cold air intake.

are they sure thats what it is? the slight rattling and chirping sounds should be normal. the air filter is not stock - its a trd filter that is made for the lower airbox thats supposed to come with the kit.
