dezod kit installed on the auto but the car is broken down on the side of the road. score. Idles great, Run's great, but chrage piping wont stay on for ____. Soon as I give it any kinda throttle BAM there it goes. Other than that everything is straight for the most part. Ill post pics if i ever get the car off the sie of the road. I dont even want the damn car anymore after the instal

Ok shes back up and running. They did provide Tbolt clamp's but when I get on it I blow piping off. Im just driving like a grandma now. Ill try the hair spray idea.

Is there even a lip on the Dezod pipes?

Spray some hair spray on the pipe where the coupler will go, then tighten the clamp and coupler as hard as you can, works everytime.

just curious, hairspray? where do you spray the hair spray? on the inside of the couplers? interesting.

Spray a thin layer of hairspray on the joiner in your troublesome area. Assemble the parts and wait 30 minutes for the hairspray to dry. This will make the surface sticky to hold pieces together and prevent leaks, but not strongly adhere or damage anything. Many people use hairspray on every connection - not only does it make for better connections, but it also makes pieces easier to slide together when you first apply it.

good info to know, if i run into the same problem i will likely use this. i also had a problem blowing charge piping, but then i torqued the clamps down to the point where i broke 2 of them and had to replace, so they are stupid tight .

Hairspray is the oldest trick in the tuner world for couplers/charge piping when doing turbo systems

The hairspray acts like a glue like zer0 said :D

I use Rave Ultra Hold (baby blue tall can)
works good to when i gel spike my hair too hehe

Torque those T-Bolt clamps tight. Your pushing some serious pressure those pipes.

The pipes need to be bead rolled. All the glue in the world will not keep the pipes in the couplers.

I haven't used an ounce of hair spray on mine and I haven't blown a pipe yet, and we've pushed almost 12 psi.

Well she is up and running with no problems what so ever. Im so happy too!!

2 Run's so far. A 99 honda civic boosted si and a 02 booster sohc civic

lost by a car to the boosted si and beat the sohc. good runs!!
