what is that lean fuel trim 2? i know p0171 is lean fuel trim 1... what i guess it means is your running lean at cruising. what are your afr's at cruise speed?

they said even the blue can but I dunno bout that.. I know our ecu has a very smart close loop operation.. When I used my black box, it was an easy piece mind making the part throttle afrs richer, how's it treating you java?

PS Im selling 2 blackbox if anyone interested..

as far as i know you need the dezod box for partial throttle. this would be a good thing to ask one of the boy's at dezod.

no...what's happening is when the BOV goes off, all the metered air goes out and the fuel that the ECU has already pushed to go with that metered air makes the car run supper rich, which triggers the 02 sensor to think your cat's not working which throws the code.
This is why they say you SHOULD be able to clear your code, go to the station without hitting boost and pass smog.

The CEL your talking about is during closed loop operation. If the short term fuel trim makes a major adjustment to the long term fuel trim then it throws a CEL. If you clear it and it doesn't come back then NP but if it does come back then pro tune with a scanner to read fuel trims , if you can tune closed loop - see above.
