Yeah, I added the spacers, and it DOES seem to help a little. I'm still reading a max of 8lb, but with the way my A-pillar is set up, it's really hard to read. I'm going to re-arrange it to put my boost gauge up top and AFR on bottom since it's the center one that's hardest to read.

I also dropped down from a 2250 belt to a 2260, and that ALSO alleviated some slippage (lesson learned: a belt that's too tight is still bad news since it puts undue stress on our weak tensioner).

A totally unexpected gain also came from removing the carbon post-filter from the airbox and replacing the stock filter with a K&N... This really surprised me. I can't say how tangible the gain is, but for whatever reason I notice it. I'm not going to do a cold-air retrofit until someone can prove there's gains involved, or until I have time to hack one apart myself and do a before/after.

I think i'm still on track for a dyno this saturday, but it looks like my 12lb pulley isn't going to make it in time. It's a custom item, so if worse comes to worst, I'll just get a tune next weekend and a simple dyno pull this weekend.

An Intake on the S/C was dyno'd in mags and shown a proven 5hp gain. That was with ARC and the other was the HKS suction kit. I believe you can get some more power with one on.

With the spacers for the forge do you just put them on the bottom then spring and close it or how do the spacers work?

I put 'em in the bottom myself. There doesn't seem to be a place to "Fit" them up top.

Correction: 12lb pulley shipped yesterday now I gotta see if Ripp will do a tune on Saturday... they're having a dyno day, so I know it'll be tough to get in there.

Slight change of plans It's going to be too busy to tune my car on Saturday (dyno day for ripp) so I'm going in tomorrow night after work

I have the new belt, and the NST 12lb pulley arrived earlier today. Going to slap in the belt and pulley tonight after the car cools, then get a tune after work tomorrow.

Just got back from Ripp. There's some good news, some bad news, and some AWESOME news.

The good news: Today's dyno yielded 296whp with a 12lb pulley (measured 10lb)

The bad news: I'm leaning out around 750-1000rpm before redline.

The awesome news: New injectors will certainly fix that

We also tried swapping out my fuel pump with 255lph walbro, but to no avail. We also tried a larger meth injector, but also to no avail. The 410cc TRD injectors simply can't deliver the fuel.

Next step: 550cc Injectors ordered, and when they show up, one more tune after they work out putting a return in for fuel delivery. Once that's done, the estimated number should be over 300whp, probably 305-310whp.

A quick dyno chart....

I just had to pm that tool "lundy". He bashed me in a thread that got locked ages ago saying that the internals of the Vortech F-trim TRD uses "isn't the blower they claim it to be" and that i'd never see 300whp with it.

Looks like I will Just waiting on injectors now.

I'm still not sure who has the fastest tC on the forums. If it's Munch, he's gonna have problems if I have drag radials/rims.

However, at the end of the day, it doesn't matter. We all do it for the hobby. Munch is a really nice guy, and i'll buy him beers anytime
