Who tuned your car...? You have no O2 map at all, it's all 0's.

That's giving you the code, and that's probably causing the spastic idle.

I'd write you a new O2 map, but it will completely throw off your entire fuel map. Right now, your ECU isn't seeing anything at all for the O2 sensor, and that's not good.

I had a local tune it that is vary familiar with the fic and ems...I had heard nothing, but good feedback on him, but he said it was the first Scion he had tuned.

Well, all your problems are leading to the tune. The fuel map doesn't even make sense to me...It's trying to PULL fuel at 14PSI and it's running LESS fuel at 14PSI than 11PSI. It might work because it was tuned off having no primary oxygen sensor, but it's just bad.

The ignition map looks good, and the MAF map looks like a base map (it's roughly the same as my MAF map and I'm running the base Dezod MAF map).

The only way you're going to fix the CEL (which may fix the idle issue, may not), is if you run a good O2 map, which would make your entire fuel map is useless.

I'd let you try my map, because I idle perfectly and hold near perfect AFRs everywhere, but someone already tried it and it ran like ___ for them. And I don't think 07+ tunes will work very well work 05-06.

Yea I'm kind of stuck right now because to get it tuned by someone else I am looking at a 4 hour drive atleast...and I'm kind of afraid to drive it that far

I'd say your best bet would be to try another tune...find a Dezod base map and give that a shot, see how it runs. My entire tune is based off their map, and my car fired up with it from the beginning. If it doesn't work, switch back to your current one.

And if you're going to go that far for a tune, go to PTuning.

They stick to a very strict schedule, if you book, they want to make sure you'll show up. And with them, you can feel safe about not getting a ____ tune. Things like your problem are the exact reason why I'm self-tuning.

Actually now that I think about it, they don't tune the F/IC anymore. They're going to look at my F/IC and map when I go down there next weekend, because I'm not having the problems that caused them to stop tuning the F/IC.

Guys are doing this so there is no Closed loop/Open loop transition. Only Open loop. Disconnecting the Primary 02 would put the car in Open loop all over, so you could tune idle and everything else between up to wot.

But yeah, it's obviously going to throw a CEL.

I didn't tune for that and I'm not having any problems with open/closed loop.

Oh no, that was not my intention to say there was a problem. It's just eliminates the whole ECU fighting and rewriting the tune. Since there is no 02 sensor, the tune you put on is going to stay.

But no, not a problem at all from Closed/open, it's just a means to control all of the map.

Gotcha, well so far my ECU hasn't tried to overwrite my map, lol.

Actually, I should make sure I'm switching from Open to Closed. It should be, but my O2 sensor is constantly seeing 1V.

I in my case though I think it has to do with the extreme cold it dropped way below -25 in ND this last week
