why would the car use oil in the first place? Its a brand new car it shouldnt use any oil at all. There is no reason for it to use oil period unless the supercharger is sucking in so much air when you're off throttle that it pushes oil into the intake manifold via the pcv on the valve cover, I know my S2000 does that and you have to check the oil regularly, with synthetic oil I'm using a quart every 1000 miles.

S2000's naturally use oil, dont know about any other car but I have 5 friends with S2k's and everyones uses a lil oil. Its questionable whether or not this guys Tc should be using any or not.

So they warranted the car -ie new engine even though you had the 9.5 pulley on your blower?

PAYING for a new motor? & how much is that running you? They should replace it. That's ridiculous.

well they wont, and i have explored pretty much every option... and when i say new it isnt new, its one pulled, but has about the same milage on the motor (less than 1k off) and it will cost me $950 shipped. Also I will be having someone I trust more than dublin install it.... the wizard of steven's creek scion lol

I read the first page and the last page, so sorry if i missed part of the story. I think the big question is where did your oil go?

There was a time when someone told me that there is no point checking your oil at the gas station, oil is still inside the engine so the stick will read low. You have to wake like 15 minutes for it to drain back into the pain. Then you will get an accurate oil level.

I'm glad you are moving forward finally. $950 shipped is a good deal for a used tC engine. Hope you get your car back soon.
