this is the filter i have i just went outside to test fit it on the turbo and it barely gets on, the radiator hose is bieng pushed by the filter... so i cant go any larger, will there be a issue with running such a small filter?

i doubt there will be an issue.....i use a k & n filter with a 3 inch thingy ma jigger......i cant think of the word right now....my turbo inlet is 3 inches.......and it does barely fit on the turbo and the radiator hose does sit on top of it but so far(its been about 20k miles) i havent had an issue with it......if seen people take some of the fiberglass screening from home depot and use it.....id rather have an airfilter as it will do better on the small particles

haha your gonna have to wait for a while...im moving to denver next friday(for real this time haha) then ill have to retune and save up for a dyno......bah.....dyno time is retardedly expensive these days......im shooting for 500whp on 12 psi......i kid i kid.......ill be happy with 425-450 on 16-18psi

ok so ive called a bunch of people i know about this turbo and everyone said i should b running a bigger exhaust housing primarily because of the raised redline, most said if i dyno i will probably see a power drop up top. Luiggi says the turbo is fine for the setup, so what im gonna do is GET DYNO'D after the twin disc is in, just to see the powerband.

luiggi hasnt shown me any magic so far... my tune is half ___ and the redline parameters are wrong so far... maybe hell start taking my car more serious as i become less of a friend and more of a customer.

i just think your going to be forcing way to much through that housing and that turbos not going to be in its compresor map at this point

i got a question you know when you see the compressor maps and all of that before you buy a turbo and all. when do you know when you wont be on that same compressor map? like how much psi will it take to pass that map? you get what i am saying. liek for example your saying 25psi is not going to be on te compressor map anymore. but how would you know on other apps?

ok so... shops to say on the phone that .48 would not be an ideal match for a 400+ scion tc : CFT, Masterpower, South florida turbo, Titan motorsports, Billet design, Ptuning, endless amount of people on southfloridaracing forums lol.... seemingly my tuner does persist this is a good match... so to end this and prove him wrong ima dyno lol, although now would be the ideal time to change the turbo since the car is down..
