Ive come to find out, for some reason if you dont perform 4,5, and 6 within about 30 sec, the whole thing doesnt work and you have to start from step 1. This is all from my experience, Ive swapped over 4 diff ecu's now in diff people's cars

do the lights stop flashing? i will try again tonight hope it works if not any thing else if i dont work?

also my car is turning on in park and driven while its in park should i have to put it in the d positoin or is it ok to drive while its in the p positoin. i miss having cruise control!!

Yea exactly - also I have an auto cluster, and none of the lights on the cluster light up, dunno how your "P" light is lit.

Oh lol - I just bypassed the 2nd starter relay, which is the one the clutch/park interlock uses. I posted how to do it awhile back, its really simple, just splicing a few wires in the fuse box. Mine can start any time, dont have to push the clutch

iv only had to do it once so far and i didnt waste anytime to pull the paper clip out and start the car to see if it worked, it fired right up like nothing happend.. so you could be right on that time limit.
