yes but acts on a different way.. it in fact is more useful than a t turbo timer on a non race setup.. no matter how long you set the turbo timer when you shut off, the turbo is always gonna be hot and oil on the turbo will burn some and may build up after sometime..with watercooled setup, coolant will continued to flow to the turbo while the boiling coolant goes out and takes away the heat.. in mild boost or non race application, turbotimer is not necessary and watercooled setup will be more beneficial

You still want to run a turbo timer with the watercooled turbo. Water cooled turbos just keep the bearing cooler during everyday driving. Turbo Timer are used to cool the engine oil down to a idle temp before shut down.
I would never run a turbo without a TT unless you'd sit in the car for a few minutes after you arrive to be safe.
On another note. Turbonetcis is the only turbo company to make BB turbo with oil cooled sections only.....that I know of. I can tell you that the water cooled turbo on my brothers tC has lasted long the the 3 he had before it put together. The water line kit is something like $100. You could easily piece together your own.

Yes it is ballbearing and what would i need to run a water cooled turbo to make my own kit?? Where does the turbo get the water from? sry i sound kinda ignorant here but im not familiar with water cooled turbos at all.

^^ yes sir, you need 2 fittings for the turbo, and 2 T fittings to tap the coolant line.. here's what mine looked like
search for watercooled turbo here there's other pics too

i just noticed, that i have blueish/white smoke coming from the exhaust on my Dezod turbo kit as well, i only had it for about 2 weeks and its weird... its not all the time thou, only when i revved it i noticed it..
i have only 1 cat , is it possible that it does it because of that ? or for sure something is wrong ?

I took off cold side charge pipe from the turbo and there was absolutely NO oil anywhere visible.
any ideas guys ?
P.S. my idle is stable at14.6-15.0 just like it was before, there are no smoke in the engine.. nothing abnormal at all..
Is it possible that i filled up with some flipped up fuel yestarday and it has some water in it or something ?

yes the vent is connected with 5/8'' heater hose.
it was a little chilli outside due to cold wind today in San Angelo but not like cold cold.

an easy way to see if a ring landing is done fo - this is the most common issue on the tc when detonation occurs - is to remove the breather hose - let the motor heat up to normal temp - see if you can feel air blowing out the crankcase vent. If you can than its most likely ring landings destroyyed and id do a compression check to verify. Just fyi - just because you feel nothing doesnt mean you have perfect compression this will just allow you to see if you have moderate to severe blowby usually indicative of damaged ring landings, cracked pistons or severely damaged piston rings. You could have slightly low compression due to worn rings but not feel any significant blowby - just fyi.
