Atmospheric pressure is lower at higher altitudes. You're adding the same pressure to a lower starting point, so the end result is less than someone who's boosting in a place like FL.

Standalones are the best choice but not if money is a concern. Hopefully the AEM addresses some things we've been working on, but the Emanage has still been able to make some great numbers for it's price.

What octane do you get in CO? 91 the highest?

i never thought/knew about how altitude can effect the horsepower
i had to dig it out from doing some research to know that altitude
effect horsepower.

from looking at the graph with inteverval between 50mph-150mph [we don't tend to go any faster]
lower velocity needs more power at higher altitude
higher velocity needs less pwer at higher altitude
corret me if i'm getting it wrong.

a question to everyone:
so say if you have a 160hp car [the tC likewise] and you live in lakewood, CO
it's equivalent to what hp car that is in san jose, CA [which is around sea level]

i know the answer should be lower, so everyone in CO is moving in a slower pace right? cuz all the hp cars get reduced, damn that's just sad.

well in lakewood colorado a tC dynos at 121 whp with headers exhaust and intake due to the altitude. 151 is corrected for sea level. 121 on dirty oil and 89 octane atleast.

and to answer joe yes 91 is the highest.
