Boost leak test is all good i can get up to 10psi....i just stop there! So now what??

No don't do that.


So you tested to 10psi - and it can hold there without any hissings sounds?

You may want to check your boost controller routing.

i did 21 on mine...at 19 that's when it showed a boost leak.

If he runs a max of 8psi and tests to 10psi, he should hear leaks if he has any.

I've always learned it could be dangerous to boost leak test at high psi.

It is very dangersous to test at high psi!!!! i don't have a boost controler either

no, BLUE smoke is oil/ burnt oil in the exhaust. white smoke is water.

perhaps you might have crossed the oil lines with the water lines maybe? or is there a seal for the water side rather then just a bored path for the water to go through?

also, if it's water, you could very well have a blown gasket leaking water into the compression chambers which would also lead to having boost leak as it would be finding it's way out of the blown gasket. just a thought that is...

then again alot of ideas will be thrown out there. wouldn't hurt to check them all though...

No more smoke!! it was just oil burning out the exhaust after the boost leak test! thanks though
