Default need some tuning help UPDATE 5/13/10

UPDATE:so i went back to my tuner to get this fixed and he tells me my boost gauge isnt reading accuratley i ask y he say because my BOV(hks ssqv) sometimes opens up in vac. My boost guage reading cuts at exactly 5psi which is what i thought my WG spring was!!! is that wierd can i make pressure enough to open bov a little in vac, or is he right and my guage is wrong? my guage, WG, BOV, Greddy MAP sensor are all hooked up to a vacuum block with source from the throttle Body!! dowsnt make sense since everything is connected to the same source!!!

Im getting tired of these issues i just want my car to run right!!!

Im calling to all and any of my turbo scion tc folks with ultimate to help me out i need a datalog sample perticularly im looking for air flow through the maf of an N/A car if anyone knows please help me out i just put on my turbo kit and my tuner didnt do a good job with my tune so im out to street tune, i want drivability as close to factory as possible while achieving high numbers so help me out thanks.

i posted this in FI cuz i fiquered someone might have this sample of an N/A car..

if you bring up certrain points to the tuner he should be able to fix them. if he doesnt just tell him you will ruin his reputation. 1 mouth spreads to 200 mouths in a hurry.

X2!!! Plus you paid him for something that didn't work!!! Don't tune if you don't know what your doing unless you can afford the consequences. Just google you might find alot of help with tuning.

agreed with marcelo i mean u can try it on ur own but there could be costly conseqenses as well as much frustration if never have done that before but i would first try to get him to fix the tune n make the ur tc a beast...with the set up ur running currently u should prob put out some 240hp i estimate on 6psi but that just me taking a guess from seeing what other running ur kit put out

redo your vac lines and get the vac source from your brake booster....see if that helps.

also in my book....never run your wastegate off of anything other then strait from the turbo. if it doesnt have a fitting.....drill and tap one. thats the best source of pressure for your wastegate.

if you are using a MBC then the vac line for the BOV should come from the intake mani

running a wg of a turbo will also cause you to enter boost slower....... brake booster is by far the best choice you hook to the turboit will crack much sooner
