thanks pete... actually we know each other lol. I knew I shoulda hit you up for your opinion first, but since I was heading into the dealer anyway... O well.
update... I knew there was something else funny going on. turns out my clutch master cylinder was screwed up too. kind of makes sense since yesterday when I tried it it felt weird... pushing the pedal was easy at first but got progressively harder as it neared the floor, as if I was fighting a spring with no assist. it also fits with some other behavior it was exhibiting after the oem clutch's pressure plate spring broke loose (having to pump repeatedly to get it to disengage).
I am wondering how long the clutch master cylinder has been malfing, and if it had anything to do with the oem clutch failure. I literally didnt feel any difference up to when the spring failed, but that might only mean that the oem clutch really needs very little assistance, unlike the stage 2.
yes I forgot to mention it but thought it might be normal - didnt realize it definitely was not normal until I tried out a fellow scikotic's stage 2 last night. his stage 2 is stiffer than stock, but nowhere near as stiff as mine is now, and the pedal force is almost constant, unlike mine which is progressively harder the farther down it is pushed.
hopefully it all gets resolved today!

k... got her back. the new clutch master cyl makes a world of difference - feels totally different from when I tried her yesterday. seriously thinking it might have been a major contributor to the oem clutch failure.
now i have another problem lol... CEL came on as I drove home, after having made a couple stops - 1 at a touchless wash and another at publix. now i need a scan lol.

geez... I feel even more like an idiot now. get this. they didnt reconnect the intake tubing (the section the MAF is on) to either the airbox or intake manifold properly, to top it off, they drained the engine oil, but didnt refill it when they were done! so glad I roll with royal purple. gonna drain their trans oil and relace with MT-90 tomorrow myself.
at least they seem to have setup the clutch right... first sign of trouble tho I am taking it to TNT. should've done that from the start.
LAST.TIME.EVER. that I will ever take it to the dealer. screw whats left of my warranty.

btw pete thanks much for the write-up... I am going to adjust it as soon as I can figure out a way to contort myself a wee bit less than the first attempt I made just now lol.
sometimes I wish I was Olindo's height... not often, but sometimes ^^

hahahahahah ^^^
well the best thing to do is to just move the front seat all the way back... that should give u plenty of room... unless you got some kinda dam long man hands and arms in which case.. a midget would work wonders..
if not.. ill swing by the scikotics meet one of these days and ill adjust it there.. it takes me 2 minutes.
