I did a little searching on the xs power and really didnt come up with any real failure problems . it looked more like operator error .


nope , no intercooler im gonna spray water . this is my GFs car I have a few 12 second tacomas . I just figured I would make another kit since all the parts were free or already there.

^^^ why would he have detonation?^^^ Zpi is running twice the boost level and no intercooler on the stage zero.

just because they run it doesnt mean they dont get detonation . I have IK22s "sparkplugs" I am gonna put my 160 degree thermostat in friday . and hopefully the WI and crank it up to 6-8psi

well the exsessive heat entering the cylnders is cause by not cooling the air going into the tb, wiether or not the zpi stage zero detonates im not sure but there must be some small detonation or preignition....

Seems u bought the same thermostat I got.

yep same one , it didnt arrive on time for the install . hopefully ill be able to remove the T stat housing without taking off the DP .

does anyone know what a 7cm translates to in a/r ? Im running a .48 turbine with a to4b compressor , but it seems like the turbine is makin it fall off in the high rpm range .

.48 will fall off in the upper rpms. I would have went with a .63 But if you have an agressive .48 you could be ok. All and all I would go .63

well I did a little data logging to see what is going on and I am pulling in 21lbs/min from 5700-6100 @ 3psi of boost .

I also go into a lil run in with an SRT-4 he wasnt expecting what was about to happen "neither was I " so he let me have a fender and the hit , well we went from 30mph-80mph and when we stopped he had a fender on me . we did it again and he gave me the hit again but no fender , it looked like all he was able to get was a fender again . he wasnt very happy , and wouldnt say much . but he did tell me he was on a stock turbo , but he had a boost leak "who knows" and I dont think he knows I even have a turbo cause I have the bov recirulating .

come on someone has to know the answer .


I took the turbo car on a road trip this weekend 90% of the trip was interstate 75-80 mph 10% was stop and go , the car got 30mpg every time . that is up 2mpg from the same trip with a megan header and a hacked airbox . still have the same exhaust .

7cm I think roughly translates or is equivalent to .50A/R. I THINK.

I plotted a map for you on a T3 with a 50trim and a t3/t4 57 trim. I am using the 57trim. From what I plotted it looks like you fall off around 4k with boost at 8.5 and fall off at 4.5K with boost at 10.5 pounds. Pm me for the map. This is with the 50trim. The 57trim I will be using wont fall off untill around 7k but I dont have full boost till about 3500-3900.
