New engine build (HELP NEEDED)
So if you guys don't already know my problem, my supercharger crapped and blew my motor kinda. ( https://www.scionlife.com/forums/vie...763&highlight= ) My motor is still running, but heavily on the verge of blowing. Compression numbers are around 80 across every cylinder.
This is the second supercharger to mess with my engine and i'm not going to waste my money anymore! (eff trd ftw). (Oh I will be selling the kit with a brand new seal so you won't run into my problem).
Anyways, I have to get a new block and i'm getting an 05-06 block and figure i'm going to rebuild this block. My power goals go as 370 WHP approx. What would you guys recommend that I get to keep this car RELIABLE? I know the power is high and to ask for reliability is ridiculous, but let's see where I can go and still be safe. What internals do you think would be best to beef the engine up??

if you go with lower compression or higher compression and even larger pistons id say yes your gonna need to tune for it to get the most out of the set up. larger valves could benefit from a nice tune as well. is it a must in order for the engine to run i wouldn't think so, but it may not run very nice though so might as well bank on getting some form of engine management. if you stick with stock dimensions and compression then no you wouldn't need engine management but what fun would that be??!!

Is this going to be an N/A build or building the motor now and going turbo/nitrous later. If N/A, Mahle makes a light weight rotating assembly for the tC, remove the balance shaft, and bumping up the compressiong will be the only things to make power on the bottom ending, As for the head, larger valves, port and polish, cams and intake manifold is a good start. Make sure if doing port and polish, you get it to a flow bench and make sure you didnt reduce airflow. Right now there is only really one cam on the market (brian crower ewww lol) but if you can wait a little while Ptuning has a cam in development (not sure who they are working with on this) and I am trying to work something out with Kelford. IHE blah blah blah you know the rest and top it off with a tune.
For turbo apps, get yourself a gt30/35 bb or non bb or equivalent sized turbo, 750cc injectors, head gasket, 9.5/9.0-1 pistons from CP, mahley or JE, acl or cleavite bearings and make sure you include the thrust bearing, Supertech dual valve springs and retainers (bcuz thats what I use), walbro 255lp (may have to add a return line depending on your tune), ACT clutch to hold it all together, about 18psi should definitely net atleast 380whp if not damn close to 400whp. If you run out of fuel before making 400whp with the above, you will definitely have to bump up to a fuel rail and return line setup.

This is going to be a turbo build (What I should have done a long time ago instead of EVER messing with the supercharger). Right now, I have my eyes set on K1 H-Beam Connecting Rods, Wiseco 9.0 pistons w/ rings, Cleavite bearings (from dezod) w/ Thrust +washer, head gasket :O, and I have to do some more reading on the turbos. I've been SC forever and know almost nothing about Turbo's lol. DD I want to expect about 350 whp. If I ever track the car, I want to be able to run 390-400.
With a supertech spring kit and some black nitride valves (std bore), what would I be able to raise my limiter to safely?

Haha yeah. The turbo is going to have to wait a while though. My main concern at the moment is getting the internals inside the extra block that i'm going to buy. After my built block is running smooth in my car, IM GOING turbo this time. Eff SC'ers forever. So with a motor being built, I know I can run a little more than 10 PSI.
