lol ok guys futher update, i just checked out the car today, seems they ripped apart the enire block and found that every bearing throughout was shot, all over the crank the rods everything looks like it was put in an incinerary, burnt to crisp and deep fried. everyone at the dealer is accusing me of missing a shift and over revving, anyone who knows me knows that i know how to drive my sh*t, and am not stupid, so thats out of the question....an idea that i thought of that could be a possibility was that i was running an underdriven crank pulley for the most part of the engines N/A life, and was drivin hard....so im thinking that that had something to factor in and with the newly added pressure, it couldnt take it after a while...ive only had the S/C for not even 5K miles.

anyway so they called the regional service dude guy person and he took another look and now authorized a new short block. so i went to check it out today, and damn it looks prettylol,, and as a precausion, i am not putting back the lite crank pulley, i think pushin the 9.5lb is good enough for me.lol

An underdrive or aftermarket crank pulley will def not cause what you are speaking of, however low to no oil pressure with the engine running at RPM will cause exactly what you decribe. Also missing a shift will definitly NOT cause what you describe. Missing hard shift usually results in more visual damage to underbuilt engines... such as rods sticking out the block... not every bearing burnt *LOL*

That makes 2 of the same scenerio. Both had a lightweight crank pulley with Supercharger. Interesting data.

True, they should account this in the "Pulley Owners Stand Up" thread, in the Drivetrain section.

Not related to a pulley, I know what this failure is, which is why toyota is forking over to have it fixed. They know this failure is not caused by a pulley or they would have pulled that card out of the bag right off.

for the last time, bearing clarances...

The bearing sizes were slightly off so they wore away, when the bearings wore away.
Then almost all his bearing shavings made it into the oil pump and caused it to seize therefore not pumping any oil whatsoever causing things to go downhill...FAST...

This accounts for his oil levels to be fine as he stated and this is what I believed to have happened in my motor but Toyota blames it on my boost pulley, funny they don't pull out the UNO deck on him

Maybe, I haven't seen SOOO many people having this problem. Maybe someone can chime in here and tell us how many cases have happened that they know of.
