Default New Exhaust Coming! Video pg 3...pics will be added later.

Just thought i would let you guys know that i am having a custom exhaust done tomorrow and should me done no later than Friday.

I am getting a 3' turbo back exhaust. I have the Universal Ti Carbon HKS 120mm tip exhaust with the flame tip. I am getting it done just like the NITTO tC exhaust with a slight angle to it. Right now i have the GREDDY EVO2 which i like but i want a deeper tone exhaust that sounds sick with my turbo.

I will post pix and hopefully if we have time we can get it on the dyno and see what kind of gains i get. Right now with the stock exhaust i am at 270whp and 280tq. Everything will be up Friday when i get the car back.

I've been looking for that Muffler!! Where did you get it if you don't mind me asking. I went on Ebay to see if they have it but just a bunch of knock-offs.

The Exhaust itself is about $260 and with the piping and labor all together itll be about $400.00 an additional $75.00 to have it thermocoated and to prevent rusting.

It'm looking forward to seeing the fitment/layout of the exhaust when you're done. I always loved the HKS Ti style exhaust but the lenght of the barrel seemed a little too much to try and fit

^^ Thats what I was thinking.. I hope he can get it in, and I am sure he will have to put it at an angle... I had to to fit my 3" with Magnaflow Muffler.. lol..
I cant wait to see how this comes out.

HKS carbon TI is my favorite exhaust. Haven't heard it in person but I heard it rumbles like a subwoofer, especially the turbo back. There is a member hear with the regular 2.5 inch version. I love the way it sits on the nitto tC, it looks perfect, though awfully big. $400 is not bad for a full turbo back installed. Congrats and keep us posted.

I am having the exhaust put at a slight angle. Hopefully if it comes out right it will be identical to the NITTO tC.

I just dropped it off and will be picking it up in time for a show Friday. I will post pics and hopefully Sound Performance will have time to get it on the dyno. Im kind of rushing them bkuz of the show.

Ill keep you guys posted.

well i just stopped at SP to check up and like i kind of thought they are having problems with the 3in exhaust teamed with the Carbon Ti exhaust.

The exhaust itself is way to long like someone stated here but i thought we could work around that. The 3in piping is doable but will be a HUGE pain. If i were to do the exhaust i would be about 1 inch from scrapping and with the roads out here and the fact im a daily driver we opted to go another route.

Instead of the Carbon Ti we put on the HKS Axle back made for the tC and just going to do 2.5 inch turbo back exhuast. Disappointed but the exhaust still looks nice and im sure will sound a lot better then the Greddy EVO2. I will post pics and numbers once its done.

SORRY guys for the misinformation. Like i said it could be done but i dont want to have sparks coming from my car everyday.
