It is reasonable to have misfire codes because the 2-step launch control is an intentional misfire.

What matters is not the codes but if the codes trigger a limp mode. On most ECUs they do not, and from what we have seen so far, we do not have any reason to think that the codes trigger a limp mode on the tC. If you don't trigger the limp mode, then you can ignore the codes.

For example, the 2-step triggers a misfire code on all of the stock PCM SRT-4's. But, the code doesn't do anything, so everyone just ignores it.

No worries man. I was just letting people know not to "freakout" when they see the CEL blinking and then go off. Then come on here and say "WTF OMG MY CEL IS ON!!!" and start accusing this fine company of ruining their car. Like n2mb said in his post, it actually is a misfire, but you already know that it is the 2 step creating it.

Just try it out for yourself, it is awesome!

:D

Right now I am N/A, so I couldn't really tell ya exactly where a turbo launch should be. I guess it would depend on your tires/suspension/lsd setup. Also it would greatly matter where you are launching at, such as the track or a back road. At the track it would be a little higher because of the better grip. I just used the lowest and worked up from there. I recall the lowest being 2k or 2.2k.

Yeah, it needs work. We are using google apps for hosting, so we are a bit constrained. Any ideas on what we can do? I need something that is really easy to keep updated, since we have a lot of content to put up and not a lot of time to edit HTML. And I hate writing HTML.... So, the graphical editor on google pages makes it a little easier, although it isn't the best program in the world...
