got some new codes...

1. "system too rich"

2. "MAF sensor circuit out of range"

the first one im not as concerned about, but what does the second one mean, and more importantly, how much is it going to cost me, hahaha?

i can and will reroute the dump tube back into the exhaust, but im still waiting (i think they forgot about me) for ZPI to send me a wastegate dump flange.

anyway, anyone and everyone please help me with these codes.

UPDATE!!!

what a difference it makes if the weather is 60 as opposed to sub 30 to work on your car. i spent yesterday taking my turbo apart. no im not throwing in the towel, yet going for round 2. i really took precaution and bought all tools/supplies i needed to make this process a smooth one. it went succesfully, and install back to stock was easy. i got the snapped bolt tapped out of the manifold (which i felt was an easy process, just a reverse thread bit). im sending off the manifold, downpipe, and exhaust side turbo to get them coated at jet-hot. i hope to have them back by the end of the week so i can install the turbo back on next weekend, weather permitting. im ordering emanage tonight, and am looking for an intercooler. if you have any suggestions on what size and specification intercooler i should buy, post it please.

its weird being stock again, but at least im not stalling, and i dont have to let it idle afterwards. and of course the best thing about stock, no CEL.

^^maybe you should go ahead while you are at it, and pick-up a turbo timer.

forget turbo timers...get a remote start with a built in timer, you actually get something more useful for the money.

yes, id definitely go this route if i was going to pick up a turbo timer. however at this time there are other priorities like injectors, wideband, and other essential parts.

Are you running off OEM ECU too? It's expected if you are.

Yeah, go ahead and upgrade to some E-manage, or whatever you prefer. I'm sure if you spent 2g's on a turbo kit, you can go ahead and pickup a $300 dollar management system..

We are going boost in about 2 weeks. I'm going just thinking about it. Also, just thought I would give you an update, ZPI is running the HKS Bov on just about 95% of theirs and some of their local customers cars. If you are still running that Tial one, you might want to think about switching to the HKS. 10times better BOV. Sounds sweet in person. Just talk to Kenny about it, I'm sure he will hook you up.

I can install just about anything. But turbo, I'm letting the Good Dr. Strickler take care of that one. He has a few ideas in mind, and I'm eager to see her run.
