Default News and updates from Turbotoyotas

Figured it was a good time to start updating again

yes we are still here,

Posted this in another thread, will start here and update accordingly

Things are going good on my end, and soon you will see me updating on whats going on and promoting the products again.

Have some new things in store for the Scion community that is way ahead of what any other shop is doing. ( the perks of being small and focused, plus the people and stuff I have access too comes in handy)

Some small things though:

1. The leadtime issue is no longer one as those who work for me are now accountable for there work and if its not done in time, they dont get paid and you start getting money in return. Think of every kit order as a contract...I dont meet it, therefore I am fined for it.

2. I will be a low volume high quality producer. We produced over 100 kits in 6 months this year. I am now shooting for 3-4 a month(sales wise)....big difference.

3. The product is better than it ever was, and I will be introducing higher quality materials and processes here shortly. (finally got to implement some things that I wanted too months ago)

4. Kit wise....the SIMPLE for the TC is on the chopping block as I want to focus more on the 2.1 kits for those who are serious about there setups. There are plenty of others out there to choose from. I want to focus and turn TT into more of a specialized shop. The SIMPLE for the 2nd gen xB, Corolla, and Matrix will still be available.

New kits:
xD
1st gen xB
TC (hardcore T4 stuff)

5. Custom work is no longer avail, unless you get me your car. No exceptions. Just TT parts. (no replacement parts for other manufacturers etc)

Just a few things for you guys to read.

Regards-

Todd

Right now I am making a few kits to have on the shelf. Once there done is when I will start selling again.

2- 2.1 kits (choice of turbo, 1 38 flanged, 1 44 flanged)
2-SIMPLE for the TC (probably last 2)
2- SIMPLE for the 2nd gen xB
2- new xD kits

After that it just depends on demand. My goal is 3-4 kits a month, which from a production standpoint is very easily met. Regarless if I am not selling that many, I will make various parts to have on the shelf.

Regards-

Todd

Well, I sent you a PM asking about the V2.1 Manifold, 3" Downpipe/3" S-Pipe combo. How long would it take for me to get them if I ordered them?

Whats your version of custom parts? Most of my stuff is custom but...

What I mean is:

No replacment manifolds for other manuf. no intercooler setup stuff etc....the stuff that killed me before. Just sticking to what we do best.

But if there are those that want one off stuff (and there is as there are 3 random setups being worked on as I type) you just have to get me your car.

Plus AEN---your really close

How long would it take for me to get them if I ordered them?
If I take those parts from one of the kits I am currently producing...would be able to ship next week (thurs/fri) as long as you dont want anything coated.

regards-

Todd

It won't be that soon. It will be in the Spring when the snow stops. Are you gonna be like ZPI by then? Not to sound like a dick, but we never see you around much anymore, etc. I really want to buy the stuff from you and have speedy shipping when I do when the time comes, not be one of those distraught people posting up about how I never got my parts and my money is gone, etc.

No, I will not be like ZPI. Yes there have been problems.(bad decisions, bad employees, a lawsuit etc) I have stayed quiet I as I have been busy working my ___ off to keep the business alive, getting those who wanted to keep there order there product and get those who wanted there money back refunded. Plus I needed to fix a few things before I decided to continue with the business. There was a point at which once I had finished with old orders and returning money(still in the process) I was going to quit. But some things happened and I have received allot of help to continue.

will you still have anodized intercoolers?
Yes an option available on every turbo kit or intercooler

and motor work?
Yes, through ERL. The only other part of the puzzle I will be offering.

is the "shop" up and running?
(looking for a professional tune)

No, what was planned on earlier in the summer, fell apart when everything else did.Things changed in a hurry.

As for tuning...I use UMS tuning here in Tempe.(same place who tuned Phils car)
