you should know better by now. what did they say?
I do..been around to long..

I feel like I am back on Honda-tech with all the Peakboost and Full-Race drama.

They decided they wanted to comment on the business etc.

Should have kept out of it as far as I am concerned.

Its ok though....they soon will be the big dog with a target on there back.

I dont like that position nor do I ever want it ever again.

Here is what is really frustrating to me:

People complain about the time frame etc (understandable)

but when I tell them I ran into some trouble and its going to take some time for me to get back to making parts.....

They still complain that its taking forever..which it is....but when you can't make a part you can't make a part...how hard is that to understand?

And its either wait or there is nothing....is my english bad?

Regards-

Todd

I think you are missing the point of all these posts/threads. People are ____ed about the lies, the saying that stuff was shipped when it wasn't, that stuff will be ready in X amt of days as soon as its back from the coaters, when truthfully, the stuff hasn't even begun to be fabricated. All anyone is asking for is some honesty. If its going to take 6 months to get something, then just say hey its going to take 6 months for me to get this done, would you like to wait, or do you want a refund????

That part I understand......I seperate things..bad habit of mine.

And to address your post....

I am 100% all about keeping the customer updated

What took place was my guys telling me it would be ready on this date...then I would relay that to the cust. Then we would miss that date....and that process would happen all over again.....bit me in the butt numerous times. Same with the coaters and powdercoaters...drop it off...be ready in two days...then two weeks would go by etc...

Providing too much info and the wrong info at that...I did it.

There is a better way to do things, this I know.

Which is why when I turn this last corner...we will be small volume. This way the orders I have will be built in time and I can keep those customers updated on a daily basis. Really good honest customer service one customer at a time.

Todd

No sir I am not.

Mods and or AEN...this thread has now turned into crap basically.

This one needs to go away. or it can stay and just fall back...your guys call.

I will start a new one with the people listed earlier in the thread so they and others can follow with updates. Nothing else...just updates on their stuff.

Once that is complete, then I will start posting news and updates on the new stuff.

Regards-

Todd

I don't know exactly what they said, but I know MrC and most of the crew from PTuning. You should take whatever criticism they gave you, and think of it as constructive criticism. Those guys won't be satisfied with anything but the best, and even then, they want to improve.

I know that, which is why I was suprised to read what I did...

Its ok though....if once I am cought up and I do decide to stop, they are the ones I will help out. I have allot of info for this community and they would be the ones to take advantage of it and be able to implement it.
