I find it really ironic that people still call *taboo* on a setup like the Stage 0. Yet there are more Stage 0's running around than you can count or keep track of. No reported problems, except for people who has install issues, and lastly the constant feed back coming from Stage 0 customers who said they love their setup, and have confirmed A/F Ratio #'s with and without management.

If they were so *taboo*, there would be a crap load of blown up Stage 0's.

I guess I have to much common sense for my own good.

Did I miss a post? Is someone calling taboo about the stage 0 here? I thought this thread was saying that the stage 0 was good, but now that ZPI is gone, who is going to follow in their footsteps and fill the void that the stage 0 once filled?
I must have missed something in this thread.

^^^ Dezod should do it for a great price, good welds, optional chrome, should work with the OE ECU and still be reliable like their Signature kits...

Those should be hot stuff...

I must have missed something in this thread.

It was in reference to this:

Perhaps they were directed towards the current debacle the company is in rather than the Stage 0 itself. So, I apologize if I jumped the gun, but the usual comments are about the Stage 0 specs itself.

Ah, I see how that could have been taken that way.
I thought they were refering to the state of ZPI's business affairs.
Man, what are you going to talk about now, Travis? :D

I wouldnt doubt that Turbochargers.com comes out with a stage 0. After all, Kenny is VP of one of the departments there now. Only makes sense.

well...uhm...actually...if you really want to know, i asked paul about a stage zero kit from dezod, and while he doesn't reccommend it, he does kinda sorta sell one if you know what your looking for.

http://www.dezod.com/pd_dezod_motors...esmanifold.cfm

turbo, manifold, wastegate s-pipe. all you would need is like an intake filter and such, and you have a dezod stage zero turbo...so uhm, yeah, there is another stage 0 kit out there.

Just add all the plumbing to it and there you have it...

exactely, now to recap, paul from dezod does not endorse this as a stage zero kit. it is just a item from the "do it yourself" turbo catagory of his site, but yeah, you basically have a stage zero turbo right there.

Just out of curiousity, has anyone actually turned the Dezod DIY Turbo into a stage 0?

not to mention, I highly doubt that Paul would suggest running this size turbo without fuel management or an intercooler...If anything maybe add an emanage and some water/meth to cool things down a bit

Also, when you buy all those parts seperately, you end up spending more to finally get to a stage 1.

what do you mean its not gonna run the same? Ive yet to see a zpi stage 0 run good without an emanage or some other form of tuning...so what are you trying to prove with that statement? That the dezod "stage 0" is gonna run just as bad as the zpi "stage 0"

Ive seen 2 stage 0's in person. no problems. The maf placement is different, and the turbos are different. so the AFR are not going to be the same. In a nutshell, thats what i ment.

You could get that DIY assembly, 2 charge pipes (1 with 07 MAF flange), filter, Greddy PnP EManage U and pressure sensor, Blitz RViT monitor, and you need 440cc-550cc injectors...

And it will still run you around 3.6grand without the FMIC.

I'd rather get a Greddy or Treadstone than that...
