Default Nitrous Express... need some direction

Hey everyone... I just aquired a partial sponsorship from Nitrous Express but I need help on deciding which of their many kits I should use for my tC.

I was thinking maybe their Import EFI All vehicle applications:
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Pages/ImportStage1.htm

or thier Hitman EFI series:
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Pages/20001.htm

Here's a page with all their Import applications:
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Pages/Importmain.htm

WeDriveScions, I know you have experience with the ZEX kit so maybe you might be able to give me some input on which route to go. I'm shooting for a 50 shot and maybe a 5 or 10 lb bottle.

Any input is appreciated.

Please no "naaaaaaaaaaaaaawwwwssss" bashing or flaming .

hey i'm all about it... i was kicking around the idea of getting the hitman efi series but couldn't cuz i had to buy some winter tires...

p.s. blizzaks are the ISH

back on topic: I'd go with the Hitman EFI, bit more of a user friendly kit IMO... i also like the push button activation feature so you can get one of those spiffy shift ***** with the button it that way you're not spraying between shifts (common with steering wheel buttons) and dont blow your motor to smitherines

Get the direct port efi kit part # pn80004efi. It's got the piranha nozzles and is direct port wet system will handle up to a 500 shot. This is the kit Iam running on my x/b 75 shot.

I'm trying to see the difference between the Hitman and the Standard... but the hitman looks sufficient for a great setup...

Pick up part # 18959 (Window Switch) and # 15961 (TPS Sensor Switch) as well

I strongly suggest not going with the sole route of running a push button, like in the movies, as the above two switches really protect you and your engine from running the N2O at too low of a RPM, or Too high of an RPM (above limiter), as well as running at anything other than WOT, which is the only way to go. Any of the guys I see at the track don't just run a button on their cars anymore.

Plan on killing your stock fuel line in the engine and using the two ends of it to allow a better race fuel line to run in it's place, so you can tap that more effectively.... (the stock fuel line in the engine is plastic and near impossible to tap)

Hope that gets you on the right road... picking up a Wideband couldn't hurt as well, so you know you're jetted perfectly and not leaning out...

Yup... haha Tim I wish u'd be here to help me out when I get it. I'm sure Erik (The_Instigator) and I could tackle this down tho... i hope.

It looks like i'm leaning towards the Hitman EFI series. Would it hurt if I ran w/out the Window Switch & TPS Sensor Switch in the beginning and add them on when more funds arrise?

Are you talking about this one?
http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Pages/80004EFI.htm

Would it be safe on the tC? I'm not planning on doing a 75 shot.... a nice simple 50 shot would do the trick.

Default buy these

That's the one, you can run a 50 shot on x/b so the tc would handle 75 shot. Get the maxmizer 2 progressive controller and gen x-2 kit . You might think about upgrading your injectors and fuel pump and fuel lines and add a return fuel line and adjustable fpr then you will be done.

Does that have everything I would need? Or did you buy anything else to go with the kit?

Well I was talking with Josh @ NX and unfortunately the Hitman EFI does not apply to the sponsorship. So now its a battle between the Import EFI All App. kit or the 4 Cylinder EFI Piranha kit that Freddy has.

Decisions.... Decisions.

Import EFI.... Simple and effective... no need to get too complicated with jetting the direct port... either way will be good, just the standard wet will be SOOO much easier to install.

Default Sorry Mike

But you can do a direct port system. I had my nozzles taped right into the head. This way you get a wet direct port and the nozzles are hidden. Someone on this site epoxy the nozzles on a x/b plastic manifold I don't think it would hold plus everyone would know you are running nitrous.

Default hide the juice

I let my friends know, but not people who want to race me(surprise) haha and not the cops. Thats why I had my bottle mounted under my rear bumper and not in my liftback.
