Nitrous vs. Meth Injection

i disagree with you crayola.. u have to realize the difference between the r32 and a tc. i kno the white r32 with the nitrous that made the 12's on the track i live on vwvortex and golfmkv forums, water meth on a full bolt on NA tc will provide little to no gains at all. Yes, it is mainly to make your car run more efficient and safer but the OP is looking for power. Run a nitrous kit, with no meth. An aem meth kit or snow performance runs 400 bucks + install+ tune. u always have to tune with meth to work to its potential. u wont have money if u try and do both. get the nitrous and get a tune with it and call it a day. honestly for the money id buy a used s/c on the board .. theres one for like 1100 with everything.. Methanol will not make as big gains on an NA as it does a boosted car. its a plain and simple fact. dont try and compare a fully built NA car to a stock boosted car either thats stupid. u get my point.

but if some kid has a 50shot of nos on a fully bolt on n/a tc. i find running watermeth to none the less bring intake temperatures down resulting with less damage being done w/by the nitrous to be plausible. he doesnt even need to use meth in his solution in fact he probably shouldn't the nitrous is going to be giving him enough of an octane boost, just distilled water would be more than enough to bring inside temperatures down drastically.
and i tried to explain earlier and it always gets me b/c people praise so much that watermeth injection is a major power adder its not, i never look at it as a means to make power, you will make power off the octane yes but you have to tune for it, i always see water meth injection as a means of running more power more psi safer.
for example
lets say you have a turbo tC at 9 psi now he has watermeth injection, he can now run 11 psi get tuned for it safely without blowing somthing. unless your a lemon, a crap driver, or an unlucky SOB.
s/c tC now gets a nst light s/c pulley smacks it on there gets watermeth and tune results with the car being able to handle the power.
now i dont see a problem in applying that formula to a naturally aspirated tC on a 50shot of nitrous.
