Your install price will likely be around $600, including reflash. Everything is included in the kit unless you're automatic, then there is an auto fit kit for around $50.

If you buy from www.trdsparks.com, you can get the s/c plus auto fit kit for around $3025. The dealer will install this, as long as you don't remove the tamper-evident tape. Call the local dealers to see what they want to charge you, I was just giving a ball-park number for install cost.

It's up to you if it's "worth it". The pros are that it retains factory warranty, passes emissions, and adds 40-50whp depending on the car. You won't need any additional guages or other accessories, and it will "just work".

The downside is that it makes less power than turbo setups.

turbo would be nice, but not needing that much hp, just want it for the btter pick up, the fact to say "i have it" plus for some fun on the highway . but i'll have to look into that for sure once i have the money.

Did they ever fix the problems with the S/C? Talking to the "scion dude" at my stealership he actually advised against it, saying about 1 in maybe 10 of their installs didn't come back for bad parts within the S/C. Something about a bad bearing?

Thoughts? Experiances?
