My previous experience with "stronger" front drivers was when i sold the 1st gen turbo eclipses which ( unless you got the awd ) could be quite a handful at times--sure surprised a few people on test drives.... so am still relatively new to the performance front drive circuit.
As for TRD having this part now; i wonder if they will/would package it with a new clutch assembly. Something that may better handle ( then stock ) long term the harder take-offs that the limited slip will offer?
just some early morning thoughts...

I had an LSD on my cavalier which did not have equal length drive shafts. It had mad torque steer without it, and it correccted 90% of it when I installed it. However that was a spring and plate type LSD (like Phantom Grip) that I custom built, not a gear driven one like the Quaife.

I have the quaife LSD in my tC.
I have the stock bearings. TRD and toyota are trying to make some profit is all. You don't *need* new bearings. And IF* the toyota mechanics Damage your bearings during removal. THEY have to purchase new ones and install them. Not you.

Well i payed the quaife price wich was only a couple bucks cheaper really. But I didn't pay no $125 for "misc" parts. I paid 30 bucks for synthetic Lubricant.
But its well worth the money imo
