However, I do think the scion platform has limitations above 300whp. Simply put its front wheel drive and will turn into a highway car above 300whp granted it will be fast there.
The reason I sold my tC and went a Subaru was the above. I can make huge power and still put it down without loss of grip. When your racing on a track RWD and AWD are the best platforms to put down power.
The people do underestimate a turbocharged tC alot tho... but that's what makes it fun!!!!
Also please take your racing onto a track!!!! NASA, 1/4 mi something where you are not endangering other peoples lives.

its like saying... the tC can drift because someone BUILT one specifically to drift as a race car.
I can drive my car to the track be very competitive with little to no changes to my car...
if i wanted to spend 20k to keep a scion that I couldn't drive everyday your right otherwise I don't see your point... both P-tuning and Rado's cars are purpose built RACE cars... not street scions
any car can be fast with enough money... I fail to see your point
again im not bashing on the tC I love the car... im just saying... I swiched because i can do what I want to do with less money and less custom fab with the subie....
I would have loved to build a sick scion for the track... I just didnt have tons of money to spend.

PTuning's tC is closer to a Street tC than Rado's is. Remember they ran nearly the first half of the Time Attack Season with a stock motor. It wasn't until like the last Time Attacks that they swapped in the built motor. At that point then it was a little beyond a street car. But before that, with the stock motor, it could be driven on the street just fine.
And didn't you pay more for the subie, so not seeing the whole doing more for "less money". Secondly, mods for an STI are higher priced than those for a tC. Same as with my 350z, mod for mod, tC's mods are cheaper priced. So, again, there is no argument to made with the whole money thing. At some point, No matter what car it its, the HP goal you have set for it, will superceede any factory component on the car and will require you to spend money to support the extra power.

Brian's does not, he has a standalone. When I get my Ultimate, I will also be past the 127 speed cut.

a lot of people underestimate the tc.. it sounds super quiet with the cut out closed.. then open that hoe and all you hear is crazy ball bearing spool.. i heart it.. by then that guy will be like "wtf i get myself into" and ill be like"were still racing right??"

Well, that's apparent, cause the 370z is not out yet. But yeah, the 07 models will run in the 13.1 range.
