Default Non-Sleeved Short Blocks & Ported, Built Heads

We have had plenty of demand for these as of late and have sold quite a few. So in order to keep lead times to a minimum, we have scavenged 2 blocks, which went to our machinist for the initial machine work to speed up our turn around time on these. So instead of 3-4 weeks, we are now looking at less than 1 if all parts are in stock here, and if not, 2 weeks tops.

Yet another way Dezod is stepping up for the Scion community.

Some have asked, what does this block include? It includes the following components, which have been proven to over 500whp:

K1 rods w/ ARP 2000 bolts
ACL Race main bearings
ACL Race rod bearings
ACL Thrust washer
ARP Main studs
Wiseco 9.0:1 pistons

Machining services included in the price:

jet washing*
bore
hone
line bore
line hone
deck resurfacing
blue printed and balanced rotating assembly
all components (pistons & rods) weights are equalized within a 10th of a gram
balance shaft removal**

Final assembly occurs to our specs with most of your measurements occuring to the 1,000th, and some to the 10,000th of an include to ensure precision work.

* We do not bead blast because residual media is always present and can not be cleaned. If left in the engine, it will damaged your investment.
**standard service at no charge, it can be left on if you'd like as well. We recommend running an ATI harmonic balancer if you elect to delete the balance shaft.

Standard procedure even with competitors as well. Feel free to check theirs too.

No one can control what the customer does once he or she has it in their possession. That includes tuning AND final assembly.

I have taken the liberty of doing so to further prove....

Just to clarify for those whom may not understand why this is. Allow me to provide just 3 of many potential options that could arise and result in engine failure that would have a bearing on our parts, yet we had no control over.

No block is indestructible. All can fail. Built blocks are capable of handling more abuse, but still can be destroyed.

1) The guy tuning it runs her ragged lean for the setup and fuel used and she grenades.

2) The guy assembling the block does not measure piston to valve clearance when putting it back together and at first start up the car gets contact on 2 pistons to several valves.

3) The tuner is programming VVT and ignores the fact that piston to valve contact can occur and it does.

All of the following above could happen and effect our parts and services, but where not a result of our work performed.

no, i wasn't expecting a warranty. I wouldn't even think about going back to any of the manufactures because of something i installed wrong.

I was saying that i love it because of the way that it starts. No chance in hell. short and to the point. perfect.

That's how we roll. No fluff. No BS. Right to the point.

looks good Paul!

kinda off topic here but what is your position on polishing the pistons and combustion chamber? (I mean mirror polish, not machine polish)

Helps prevent carbon build up, but other than that.....IMO, not worth the time and effort.

u can push over 500+ on stock sleeves. idk how long theyll hold up, but i know quite a few ppl on here have had some good results. its also contingent to how good of a tune u have.
