For 1500, take a look in the classified section here, there are deals left and right.

they are saying boosting is a bad idea for you. just because the lack of overall knowledge you would not be able to properly maintain your car were it turbo'd

The thing is, a lot of people want to boost their cars and don't know too much about the effects of turbo.

Everyone here is trying to give you real-world expectations about what you can pull from either your Manual or Auto transmission.

When you're turboed, there's a lot of upkeep in order to ensure your car runs smoothly.

And last, the only thing that scares me is that you only have $1500 to spend on parts and install. It doesn't sound like you have enough to me in order to get good results.

You need more than that...$1500 may get you the parts used in classifieds...but I assume you'll need to pay for install and tuning = not cheap

Okay I'll lay off the boost. Right now I have bought a spoiler a cold air intake rims coilovers and I can't decide which exhaust I want apexi world sport 2 or the trd offical what are your guys opinions on that what sounds better on the tc all I have seen are YouTube videos and it's hard to really get a grasp of what it would sound like in real life. There both about the same price so which would you choose

Noob needs to find people who have experience with aftermarket forced induction and learn the theory and dynamics of turbo systems.
After you learn about F.A.T (fuel,Air,Timing) then you learn about turbo sizing, injector size, and etc.
Truly if your not serious about it then don't do it. I see your in South Florida if your ever stop by Orlando there are plenty of shops and people that can help you including me.

Check out Garrett.com or Dezod.com for technical notes to help you understand forced induction and other theories.

I would get the ptuning axle back exhaust and do mid pipes later. Look in sponsored sale section they are doing group buy right now. Just my opinion.

If you had $1500 to spend on your engine and you cant let go of F/I, then look at nitrous. I'm sure for that money you could get a nice nytrex kit with Dynotune WOT switches etc. Just a suggestion. But don't boost on that much of a budget. I wouldn't go turbo for less than $5k.

If you're on a budget then don't boost. It's that simple

All you need to know right here. I wouldn't try boosting your car for anything under 5-6k if you want it done right.
