I am about to buy the dezod turbo kit and install it myself would it be ok to drive it the same day it's installed, bcz I see on some of the other posts to get it towed to a shop instead of driving it... is this true?

well if you got a decent base tune and take it easy(stay outa boost) it really shouldnt be a problem.

yeah...if you got the dezod kit with the f/ic from them and the dezod basemap preloaded, you should be good to drive to the tuner...hell, I installed my kit and drove to work and back for a week on stock injectors and no managment untill I got tuned! (I was also running on a 3psi spring at the time...

Yea i ran mine for a few weeks on stock injectors and no tune but at 4 psi. Just dont install the injectors until you tune it or youll run extremely rich and to be hoenst i dont know if itd even run? Never tried it on my car lol Or if you have a fic (sorry the only one i have experience with) you could just make a map based fuel map using the change injector size option and than youd be good to go until you get it tuned Or just be like me and street tune it, but obviousely i wouldnt recommend this unless you have at least a decent bit of tuning experience and a wideband to monitor afr and perferabely an obdII scanner that can monitor factory fuel trims, it helps alot :D
