OBX = APC when it comes to making car parts....

I find it funny how people will recommend a product based on...."It looks cool". Yeah, I bet it will look REAL COOL when your car is sitting in the drive way after it blows up...

Would you trust APC to make you a manifold for a intricate/delicate part such as a turbo manifold? You can take that gamble, but there is no way in Hell I would trust that stuff on my car. Something this important should be properly tested (meaning on a car and running for over a year), with dyno # differences, spec sheets...etc.

Some of you guys who don't know any better need to pay attention to what's going on when some of the guys and gals in the F/I section tell you that it's probably not in your best of interest to buy this item. I'm not saying it won't work, but.....It's OBX. Think for yourselves, when it comes to shift *****, lights, wheels.....You buy that stuff because it looks good.

Turbos, Manifolds, Headers, Intakes....(important **** that can make or break your entire car), should NOT be bought on the basis of...."it looks cool".

If your budget oriented, the $430 is worth a shot. Especially with that lifetime warrenty.

Cool. If it doesnt work, then you have a reason to bash OBX products... Im still up in the air, I have no expeirance with them so I cant say anything bad.

+1 for you!!!

IMO I dont think buying this is a horrible idea. It's not going to break the entire car. Of course it could break and crack , Which I read isnt a big deal. Myself would put a OBX product on anything on my engine, At least till there was proof that it worked. Even though this manifold looks good. If someone does buy it and it works out, more power to ya.

i said i was going to buy one.. i never said i'd put it on my car..lmao. OBX is like the ____tiest after market parts maker! everything they make is leterally junk. I emailed the guy and asked about fitment and assured me there would be no fitment issues. Then i asked about bolting up a larger turbo, say.. a GT35r, and he also siad it wouldn't be a problem. I'm going to hunt down OBX's phone number and give them a call.

But yeah.. if this manifold starts cracking, and chipping, you can say bye-bye to the turbo, and hope nothing makes it thru the ic pies, the ic, and up tp the intake!

Does OBX make their own product? or is it another company that makes it and they slap their name on it?

And if anyone has bought the manifold, keep us updated if it works, or blows....

Oh...lol. I thought you were going to try it out for everyone to let us know how it goes. Remember, it won't be a fair product review if you already have the premonition that it's going to fit horrible from the start. Give it a fair review.

ok.. i've decided to give this thing a try. OBX's website is down and the email addy they have posted isn't a working one, so screw it! i'm gonna take one for the team, and dive bite on this.

I still need to get some IC pipes made so it'll be a bit before i get a review for everyone.

Why, the purpose is to test to see if they hold up. I think it will do fine, the manifold is braced properly. Hoping for the best. :D
