you could be getting detonation in the engine..

you checked the dp for cats and fixed that issue now you must check the inside of the engine, this notorious cat c ould be in there causing detonation:

running stock fuel pump, i really hope heavy fuel dumps havnt eaten away at my piston rings.....should i do a compression test? maybe get a new maf? can i just bolt a new maf on? the maf im running now has a piece of plastic round the sensor cracked....i previously got a new maf put it on before tuning and noticed the new one didnt work and the one w/ the crack did.........weird.........

if theres one thing i need right now is blown internals.....i havnt punched it in a couple days been driving in vacuum and its been driving fine.

same thing happened today at the pump, refilled once again 93octane shell and idle wacked out had to turn it off n on a couple times before my throttle was back....my only conclusioni to this would be failure on the fuel pumps part. i havnt gone WOT in days, the car drives nice when im not letting hte bov go off. i need to get a new fuel pump now what sucks tho is yesterday i decided to chuck my 3g iphone into the ocean due to slippage on a boat. ARgh...plus ticket the other night.......i dno whats w/ these days but its just one thing after another..

I've had that feeling lots of times.

I wanted to do a full part out, lol.

Just relax a few days, don't stress it.

Then come back with a clear mind and get it running 100%

If you think about it positively, at least the car is running.

Compared to some of the other horror stories on here >.<

I forgot who it was, that was in las vegas and was driving to dezod for a tune. Then all of a sudden his car died, and they popped open the oil pan, only to find chunks of pistons/connecting rods/rings, and a cracked short block.

You get what I mean.

Yea its an annoyance, but its running ^^
