Thanks guys. Release date could be as soon as two weeks if all the testing holds well. I think we're making some modifications to the final kit later, but we will post what those are before we take a cent from anybody.

BTW... I didn't take it offensively so I'm not snapping lol... We didn't go "fancy", we went quality. I don't want a full cat-less exhaust for a street tuned turbo kit. Most people have car inspections, why would you want to remove your turbo kit every time you need a sticker? I'd rather lose a couple HP (literally only a couple) and keep my car street legal (which is also better for the environment!).

More to come tomorrow guys. First day being a manager at best buy today, followed by our football leage tonight. I'm off to go cook some pasta but tomorrow's a new day, and the stuff will come along much more rapidly. Thanks again.

So your turbo kit is going to be legal?

All I'm saying is that it's SMOG legal. For emissions tests, it should pass. It may be past your dB limit depending on state, and is not CARB exempt. Our kits do not allow for a FEDERAL fine though. If the government finds out you've removed the cat on a car that came with one, you're in for some hefty bills. Now granted you'd have to be pulled over first and then have the car inspected. But it's at least a piece of mind knowing that. The little cat that's on there flows some extreme CFM and is the one used on the Impreza WRX downpipe exhausts.

Actually the fine would intel to removing any emissions things. So taking the intake off would intel a fine.

Hmm... Valid point. I just know cops in my area crack down hard on anyone with over-kill exchaust modifications for streets. They could care less about intakes around here. The cat is the worst thing to remove and for a street car is very unneccessary. I know it helps to add a SMALL amount of HP, but for the amound of daily driving done, why stink up the roads and risk more fines?

If they want to really crack down on you yes. Removing a cat is not streetlegal, regardless of state. Now some states can be taken advantage of because of inspection variances, but it's still illegal. Our Street kit is meant for the street.

so, thats a hard thing, to keep it legal. any turbo will make you illegal... so the only option is to buy a car with a better engine?
