Like I said, it has nothing to do with CARB. Federal emission standards require having at least the number of cats as the OEM set up. That means, you can go more cats if you like

In anycase, I honestly don't care if you don't give a crap about CARB as you shouldn't, living in TN. However, like I said, it's still a federal offense to delete one of the two or both cats on the tC. Having said that, I still don't care if you don't give a crap because honestly, the chances of getting caught anywhere other than major metropolitan dominated states are low enough to not care. In fact, living in California, I myself don't really worry about getting caught for CARB.

Perhaps I'm one of very few but I want to retain at least somewhat of a semblance to the ULEV rating the car came with.

But that's just me.

I don't know if i'm speaking for everyone, but i know most everyone here would much rather you get all the possible kinks and issues solved before shipping. Just not worth it to have the turbo a couple weeks sooner if there's problems with it. Make sure you guys are 100% satisfied before releasing it. We will appreciate it in the end.
This goes without a question. We do not deal in half assed findings. This is why we have taken SOOOOO long thus far in R&D, fitment, troubleshooting...

Joe daily drives the tC, so we get tons of driving in all types of conditions, and he also tracks it on the weekends too. We get the better of both worlds.

Yes it is a shame what happened with the Scion Speed issue, however we are taking more than enough time to get all the kinks and such worked out so that we have a kit that I am proud of saying is mine.

As impatient as we all are, we rather have perfection, than something released sooner and half-assed.

Keep up the good work fellas!

Joe's track results are as follows:

1st run: 13.8 @ 103 w/ crappy traction
2nd run: Shattered Axle after getting traction

SUCKS! 1st company to make enough power to shatter a tC tranny.......YEAH! THAT sucks. We'll keep you posted.

Damn. I was fearing somthing like this. I wanted a stage 1 so as to not have to upgrade any internals. I figured the clutch, but not the axle. Damn.

I guess we over-engineered the kit a bit. I think the instant traction was more of an issue than the torque itself. I rev'd slightly higher than the first launch, but had more traction, and the extra torque was just too much apparently.

Vids in a couple...
