I'm tempted to upload our latest progress. Our "bling" turbo is complete and sitting next to the car, as with the new wastegate and other various things we got.

Bump...

Update 7/11/05!!
I'm leaving now to take our Turbo and Wastegate to our manifold shop to get the manifold finished up. Our turbo is GORGEOUS!!! It's definately a show piece turbo. Using a polished compressor housing with an anodized gold center section. The tab for our intercooler is being welded over the next hour or two and I'll take a picture of the IC mounted on the car. We're getting closer to finishing this project and will be contacting our GA people soon.

And that's why he's gonna bank off of this kit.

Granted that we still have the numbers to consider, but as of now I'm going with this kit. The service and honesty is unbeatable. And it seems like the kit will be a quality product.

I wonder who is gonna be the first to bash the kit or Dezod? You know someone will...

You know man, I actually looked back at my post to see if it was really changed haha... Sure I'll give you a holla when this thing is done. I also plan on a "teaser" DVD for the pre-order people when the kit is first ready to go. It'll show the parts, the car in action, on street and off, and some other things.

Well... For the ETA on availability, I expect mid to late August. It all comes down to testing and how well the kit breaks in to our standards. As for the ship time... We need $1k deposits for pre-orders. The money get sent to Turbonetics, because the build our turbos SPECIFICALLY for us for use with our stage 1 kit. It takes about 1-2 weeks for the turbo to arrive. As that's happening, we will order in the pipes and other misc parts we may not have in stock. Once the turbo arrives we'll assemble it and ship it out to your door. So all in all, I'm expecting a 3 week turnaround assuming Turbonetics stays on top of things. If our sales volume is large enough, we'll start ordering extra custom built turbos and intercoolers, so we'll have the kits ready to ship almost instantly.

All buyers will have their own account with us and be notified of any changes or updates to status on their kit.

I'll probably have pics of the IC mounted either tomorrow or the day after. I have 2 shows this weekend and have been spending a lot of time on custom ICE work and prettying it up. Molded box with JL Subs and amp, pioneer coaxials (mathes IIP perfectly), Alpine 2 channel for the coaxials (hidden), PS2, touch screen DVD with wireless Logitech controllers.

Yeah I think I took the ICE a little to far this time, but hopefully I get another trophy because of it haha. Back on topic... I had no time over the last 2 days to weld some stuff (leaving it vague on purpose) to the intercooler. It should be done tomorrow though. Stay tuned!

Update 7/13/05!!
New stuff now open to public... Our intercooler will be pictured on this thread sometime tomorrow showing how it's installed. This is to give our customers a piece of mind knowing how simple it is to attach to the car. A new promotion will be in effect once we open our pre-orders... Any pre-order on the kit ($1k deposit) will get a teaser/welcome kit in the mail, as well as a free Autometer boost gauge. If you choose not to take the boost gauge, we'll hook you up with a $50 coupon code, allowing you to take $50 off anything on the www.dezod.com store front. If you want something you don't see on the site and would like us to special order it, the $50 discount is still valid and will be accepted. Thanks for everyone's interest. We're now getting phone calls and messages every day asking about stuff for the kit, which is great. If there's something you'd like to know, and it's within reason, by all means post here. If you would like it to remain prive don't hesitate to email, call, or PM me. Only reason I ask to be posted on this thread first is so other members may learn the same information. Thanks again for everyone's support.

Anyone can be a customer!

I think I'm posting a pic of IC mounted, AND the turbo tomorrow. I will not be releasing specs on the compressor or exhaust wheel, nor trim. We wish to keep those numbers private, I'm sure you all understand.

We are using an intercooler that takes advantage of the bumpers, both the Kaminari and the stock. It will be a lower profile, basically just wide but low. I don't want to release too much yet but it will utilize the factory cooling areas without adding so much of a core where turbo lag is probable.

An upgrade could be a SLIGHTly larger core, maybe a couple inches, but with larger end tanks for a larger pipe diameter.

We are even experimenting with different pipe sizes to see how the velocity, lag, and cooling efficiency changes.

Been in the garage all morning figuring out some stuff. Thanks for the compliment on the body kit.

BTW - Here's the Dezod tC, that we're currently boosting...

Hey dezod!! Is that MadWheel's tC!?

I wouldn't mind seeing a pic of the turbo.. sounds beautiful. Will you be posting pictures of the manifold once it's complete?

Manifold pics will not be released until August. We'd like to keep that part somewhat secret.

Expect turbo pics LATE tonight. I just installed a repainted bumper and hood, and the audio system is complete. Got the IC welded today and it will be installed around 11pm EST.

Stay tuned for more.
