hmm so if im tuned at 18 psi.. i get a EBC. it allows me to switch from 2 different psi levels.. lets say 18 and 16 without problems? gotcha. thx for the info pure.
i want to drive around at 16 psi but if its time to race i can switch to 18 psi aslong as im tuned at the higher psi setting.

If he keeps the flywheel hp under 450 he should be ok... But no cryin if the car starts smoking because the cylinder walls arent straight lol...
BTW SoFloTC - if the car is making any amount of power the car will spin all of first all of second and a good portion of third... So runnin that high a boost will really only be advantagous on the track with slicks... I would keep it around 12 psi... Remember with an ebc you can up the boost whenever you want, even on the fly... So you wont have to pull over or stop the car in order to change boost.

well my built transmission .. the new torque converter is set to be most accurate or the tranny is supposedly supposed to work its best at 350 whp area if i dont have that much power it will be to loose and if i pass it by alot then it will be to tight.. so

Mikescion - Have you had a chance to check out the track in ur town? If so how was it, I nothing but good things about it. I want to take a ride out there in a couple weeks and take a couples rounds on it.
SoFlo - You sound like u have built urself into a perverbial box... Well Im sure you'll make the 350whp but u certainly will be making some large dollar upgrades to the drive train once u find yourself needing some more power... And you will find yourself wanting more power.... If you dont know already, fast cars get addicting very quickly.

Rods will be the weak point at 400 fwhp... Those will have to go for sure, while ur at it head studs and a new mls head gasket and if you have the money some pistons. But I dont think ull achieve that number without doin something to the head like making it rev highier or flow better.

on a return line fuel setup yes... But on a stock tc fuel system I dont think so... The problem is, and a system that doesnt use vac lines to adjust fuel pressure, you base fuel pressure tends to be higher but the fuel pressure while in boost isnt very high and that reduces the output of the injector. Hence y we need such large injectors to make power.
But you can try them and see wat happens, in my experience you will get too high a duty cycle when you start really making power.
