I get a not so warm feeling, especially as a builder of customer cars. Thats all I need to hear... Im grindin every shift into 2nd and 3rd cuz your tranny is defective... Nooooo, you grind bcuz you rounded the teeth because you cant shift! lol just a lil personal experience.
But lets say you want to max out the stock fuel system... 380-400 is about what Id stop at... (400 max hp if you have a really good tune, and I wouldnt run this everyday). 60-1 or gt35 either can be standard journel bearing or ball bearing your pockets decide... I prefer manlely rods bcuz they are rated for 1100 hp and the cost less then the carrillo H beams... CP pistons if its every day driving or JE for minimal driving... JE is made of a softer aluminum so it is able to absorb the stresses of detenotion better then the CP but they get piston slap at start up so over time the cylinder walls will scuff and the car will smoke after a while. I prefer supertech dual valve springs, retainers, and valves bcuz together they are rated for 15k rpm. 750cc injectors with one or two intake walbro 255 low pressure pumps... Port the exhaust runners in the head to gasket match. 2.5" exhaust with cut out or a full 3"... Greddy ultimate with 3 bar map sensor or full standalone from hydra. clevite bearings, arp head studs, and cometic head gasket.
This is the setup we use on just about every tc we build depending on the amount someone wants to spend... I believe there was someone in this forum that used an identical setup and made just under 560 whp on stock sleeves (not recommended) but the only addition to the setup was a larger more capable fuel delivery and return setup.

9.0 to 1 is fine... Just a lil food for thought... Stock evo makes 315 on 18psi with a good tune depending on the mods... Stock block on honda b18c on the same boost and same size turbo will make 400... Evo has more displacement but lower compression... so to compensate for the drop in compression more boost is needed... Only way I would suggest going that low in compression is if you car was meant to go in a straight line... The lower compression wont matter because when racing you dont have to worry about gear selection... Everytime you shift your car will remain in its nominal rpm range.
This again is just my personal preference on how I build motors... Theres always more then one way to skin a cat, its just a question of how big a cat you wanna skin. lol

With a GOOD tune you shouldn't even need meth injection at 12psi.
The water/meth injection is just for added safetly - it's totally up to you.. if it makes you sleep better at night, do it.
SoFLo, should I invite you to go with my buddy and I when I'm ready to go to Japtrix? I think this will happen in like a month or so.

^^ agreed head work, intake mani, and throttle body and about 35 psi lol... and then you can go to the 35r if you like makin baby steps or if you wanna jump to the big dogs get the 40r and put that thing on a trailor.

Ive been reading sleeving is really necessary for 350-400hp also. Sooo
What necessities would you say Im missing from a sub 10psi built motor?
Head PnP'd with upgraded VT
K1Rods
Higher Compression pistons (Having a hard time finding these, only finding lower compression, know where i can find them?)
All new ACL bearings
Head and block decked
