Is the SC supposed to sound like there's metal grinding on metal on the snail side?

Is it supposed to sound like that though? Those are the stock bearings right? not the replacement upgraded ceramics that kikcaffine sells and installs?

They are, only the ceramic ones have that high pitch noise. Stock bearings sound like humming crickets lol.

The high pitch whine is on the pulley side I thought? The metal on metal grinding sound is on the snail side - but those are the ceramic bearings then?

Yeah. You just need to auto kit. The sc kits works for auto and/or manual. If auto, the auto fit kit is needed.

they have to reflash the ECU when they install the supercharger so it is tuned correctly and runs right.

when you install the supercharger on an automatic tC, they have to do a second one as well.
