4. TIS Calibration Update Installation.
(a) On the TIS website, be sure to review TSB No. SS002-01 “ECU Flash Reprogramming Process”.
(b) After completing the main supercharger installation instructions, download ECM Calibration Update from TIS and download to the Toyota Diagnostic Tester Tool using the TIS Calibration Update Wizard.
(c) Follow Standard Toyota instruction for reflashing the ECM.
(d) NOTE: Vehicle will NOT operate properly without this update.
(e) This operation MUST be performed AFTER TRD data transfer is complete (reflash #1) . The TIS update (flash #2 for automatic transmissions) will NOT load into the ECM without the module data installed first.
NOTE: The calibration for this vehicle is a two part calibration. The first part is supplied in the main supercharger kit and must be loaded into the ECM using the TRD Data Transfer Device FIRST.
(f) The Second part must be obtained through TIS and loaded into the ECM using the
Toyota Diagnostic Tester (a.k.a. Scan Tool) P/N TYO22036. Follow the instructions
supplied by TIS for “ECU Flash Reprogramming” under the “Diagnostics” tab.

Automatic transmissions are controlled by the ECM. The flash changes settings on the ECM so the transmission performs better with the supercharger.

I've read that someone has had their tensioner go bad. I'm not sure if warranty would cover it, although you'd think it would. TRD Sparks should have some.
I had a problem with one of the tensioner pulleys from the supercharger kit rust a little and had them replaced. Ordered the pulleys from TRD Sparks.

Have a question for you with the SC and boost gauge, can someone post a pic of where they tapped in for the boost measurement? Putting my gauge in today and not entirely sure where I need to tap it into, first spot off the throtle body was just vacum. Do I need to tap off the BPV?
Thanks.

You need a direct vacuum source. Best way is if you have a vacuum block, so you only tap in from one place and all of the "accessories" like BPV, boost gauge, engine management, and methanol injection connect to the vacuum block.
You don't want to tap off of other items like the BPV because you may interfere with the operation of the BPV or not get accurate readings from the gauge.
