That kit has 2 sandwich adapters, you connect the sandwich adapter with the 2 holes and sealed bottom where the stock oil filter is, then you run a like from that to the 2nd sandwich adapter, you put that adapter where ever you want, then the oil filter screws into the 2nd adapter, then from the output on the 2nd adapter goes into the oil cooler, then out of the oil cooler and back in the first adapter. The [b]relocation[b] part lets you mount your oil filter in a different place other than stock, if you want to run a longer filter.

on the outside of the car for better cooling.... preferably infront of the bumper where the air will hit it when your on the highway.....

Jokes aside, mount it whereever you want dude, shouldn't need to ask that question. With that kit your only restriction is the length of the lines.

you mean actually mount the filter outside of the car? Wouldn't that look a little weird?

Why do you want to move your oil filter for? Its easy enough to get at where it currently sits.

Oil filter relocation on the TC is ricer mod, please do not do it, not needed.

Oil cooler? Depends on what you do with your car, most do not need it, few of us do.

Anything you add to your car that is does not really need only makes it slower, even if you need it you can still be slower but last longer (road racing and TT with a boosted engine are about the only time you will ever need an oil cooler on our cars;)

Spend your money taking off weight unless you really do need the parts you are interested in, they you are faster and not suckered into the marketing BS that goes on in the "performance" world.

^^ yeah but looks like this guy can benefit from this, a gt30 or gt35 turbo and also is getting a twin scroll manifold like yours! seems like his build is on the aggressive side

as ace stated i installed the oil cooler he sold me, but i must warn you that it may increase the oil pressure. Therfore extra care should be given on cold start ups where the oil viscosity is higher and elevated pressure levels are observed.

I installed it primarily because of paranoia but found that it helps when making a few runs down the drag strip.

if you do install it I would suggest having a oil pressure gauge so you can see what kind of pressures you see at different ambiant temps. Knowing how high your pressure is at will help you be able to make a judgment call on when to beat on your ride and when not to.

I have to agree, it can be useful on the drag strip, if you get enough runs to actually start increasing your oil temps. Quite honestly though, unless you are making insane power, still probably just slowing you down.

You can run 290 degree oil temps on a road race course and survive for long durations;) My car runs at 240 or so now which is no worry at all

If you are running your car hard enough to be concerned with oil temps either you are making huge HP on a drag car or you should be on a road race course, certainly not on the street;)

No offense meant at all as this is a general statement, not aimed at anybody in particular, I just want to point out truths since we are surrounded with so much nonsense in what we do.
-------------------------

Note: A better radiator can help deal with oil temps and not add as many more things to go wrong, like oil leaks. I just about ran off the track at 120 MPH not that long ago because of an oil leak that was not there for months, suddenly happened, big bucks hardware failed. If I did not have a need for the cooler thus no added lines, nothing would of happened.

Every mod you do brings more maintenance, costs, negative aspects, I suggest only doing those you really need and spend the rest of your money learning how to drive. and that goes for myself as well

with that said you think I'm better off upgrading my radiator instead of an oil cooler?
