Default Oil Cooler Kits

Is anyone on hear running an oil cooler kit? If so, what set-up are you using? I am looking into getting one and am curious who is using these with success.

Thanks!

Haven't seen any oil cooler kits in the mainstream for the tC yet but putting one together yourself is fairly simple and cheap..
Heres a generic parts list that a 350Z guy used. Should be more then sufficient for length wise and core wise for a turbo tC

then the Holley/Earl's part #s are

1. Setrab Oil Cooler, 25 row, 13.0"x7.5"x2.0", -10 AN fitting,
Setrab part number #50-625-7612.

3. 90 degree bends for a hose Size 10. These are for the Mocal Sandwich adapter.
1/2" NPT: 829010ERL.. you need two of these.

4. -10AN, the swivel hose end that attach to the Setrab cooler are:
-10AN, 90Degree: 809110ERL
-10AN, 120Degree: 812010ERL

5. 6feet of the EARLS prolite nylon hose size 10, i dont have the part number for that...

Some pics of the setup on the Z:

As for the Mocal thermostatic oil filter sandwich adaptor I believe the Tc has a 3/4 UNF - 16 oil filter flange on there. If that is the case you can get the Mocal adaptor here http://www.racerpartswholesale.com/mocal.htm

The part number is SP1T. But make sure thats the right thread pitch for the tC.

Yes, finally!!! A pipe coming out of the intercooler came out of the coupler. You couldn't really tell from looking from the top. I got under my car and discovered it. Easy fix and my car is up and running. It dyno'd at 210HP and 210TQ @ 5PSI. I'm going to take it back in to get re-tuned and see what numbers i can hit. Also, I found a couple universal oil cooler kits, i wonder if they will work on the tC. I'll have to do some digging and see. Hey malibu, i'm down to meet up this weekend if you have some time. Lemme know.

If you are gonna buy a universal kit you might as well piece together your own.. it winds up cheaper and you can usually get better quality parts for the same price or less.
