Default oil pressure question

I have one of the prosport evo series oil pressure gauge. I hooked everything up accordingly and used a Greddy sandwhich plate.. at idle I'm seeing anywhere from 2-8 with AC on and 6-10 with AC off.. it has dropped to 0 at time or 2.. I'm assuming this isn't normal. I'm full of oil with a recent oil change. Anyone have any suggestions? Also i have 96k on car and have been turbo/sc for 20k and I've just recently can see white smoke at idle puffing out exhaust not much just enough to see and smell oil

I run the defi racer oil pressure gauge and during idle i get in the upper teens for a read out. Try ditching the greddy adapter and hook it right to the head. That's how i have mine setup. Its also where the factory sensor is btw

Does the OEM oil light flash when you are below 4 or 5?

If it's mechanical gauge maybe line is pinched somewhere. Lowest I've seen is low teens I think

No the line does not flash.. that's why idk what's going on.. cruising its 50-65 wot around 70.. I don't think it is related but I have been smelling oil as I come to a stop light.. so I stopped the car and noticed I have slight puffing of some coming out exhaust and I smell burning oil.. doesn't do I all the time tho
