Great man... I was looking into getting this kit myself, but was a little skeptic because I wasn't familiar with Treadstone. Soon after, I had my heart set on the GReddy kit because they've been in the market longer, but after reading through this, i'm reconsidering.. As far as i'm concerned, the Treadstone kit puts more than the Greedy, right?

I havent had mine dynoed yet, waiting for a dyno day to come across so i can get a descent rate, they are high right now wanting 50 bucks for 3 pulls. Thats outrageous. Anyways, im looking for somewhere around 270 whp hopefully. Not sure what it is putting down yet but as soon as i find out i will post up my numbers. Also im running stock exhaust all the way back except for my HKS axle back, so that is holding it back quite a bit im sure.

IMO when you compare the Greddy and Treadstone side by side, Tread wins hands down. Better manifold i.e cast iron log, better wastegate i.e. turbonetics evolution and better turbo i.e. garrett .42 a/r. Get treadstone, you'll love it. I'm putting down 240HP on an auto at 7psi with stock exhaust. Look at my thread Turbo'd Auto tC. :D

I put my 7psi spring in today.. I also noticed that my a/f ratios went up with the psi.. went from 11- 11.5 wot with the 5psi spring, to 10- 10.5 with the 7 psi spring... The guys at Treadstone have really put together one of the best kits on the market!

Everything I need?
So besides my pods/gauges, and the money for install, I don't need anything else?

Right now I have:

AEM EUGO wideband and my (Turbo XS) BOV, and I have about $1,500 saved up.

So I would need: Treadstone- $3000
( I already have the BOV, so i'm hoping I'd get a break and not get charged the full amount)
and my AEM boost/controller gauge: $296
...and about $1000 for install.

Grand total: 4300
(-$1.5k I have saved up)
=$2800 ...left to get_
I am SO getting a loan!

do you have any mechanical knowledge cuz it would save you a lot to install it yourself or if you had a buddy that could help. plus if something goes wrong with it its easy to find the problem if you installed it yourself. just something to think about ya know.

No mechanical knowledge: 0%
I can get 'in there' and maybe figure something out if I had to, but no...
There's a local shop charging me $800 for install with gauges and all. Since this kit requires no fuel management, there's no need to tune. There's a Dyno there, so I might as well while there for curiosity's sake.

Im not even going to bother running a full 2.5" exhaust. Eventually going to spend the money on an Electronic Cutout for my exhaust. Then i can run open downpipe and get rid of all the back pressure for sure. The flip of a switch and your ready to run with open downpipe. Or you can keep it closed and you can run your regular exhaust(which is quiet). Found them for $260 bucks, expensive but well worth it.
