Default P0103 check engine light. Turbonetics kit

Hey All. Having trouble. I installed a Turbonetics kit and when I plug in the unichip I get a check engine light and code p0103. I did a little research and saw that the troubleshooting usually leads to a MAF sensor. I have apready replaced it and Im still getting the code. I unplugged the unichip and the code went away. The car runs but I do not want to run the kit without the unichip. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank You

You must be wondering how come no one is answering to your thread. Here we go again!! Is the unichip tuned? If not what makes you think you can plug it in and drive? Drive your car to a tuner plug it in and let them tune it!

Ok. I bought the kit from a guy on SL. He had it running on his car and everything was fine. Wasnt sure if I had to get it re-tuned. Thanks

When you plug it in does it run fine? Ask a certified unichip tuner.

If you can dump the unichip and get an FIC. You'll be happier with the FIC in the long run if you keep your car that long.

Thanks for the help everyone. I'll have to find a Unichip tuner in/around MD and take it from there. The car runs fine w/out the Unichip as long as I keep it out of boost. It should be ok for the next couple days until I can hopefully get it tuned.

I know 101 is MAF out of range so 103 might be input high/low. Not familiar with the unichip but is there a tunable airflow adjustment like with emanage?

Id have to agree with Gunnist ditch the unichip and get an fic. Its hard enough finding a unichip tuner and its even harder finding a good one that has experience tuning a tc. Pick up an fic and take to Ptuning and problem solved unless they tune unichip at which point this a non issue

A friend of mine has an E-Manage Ultimate for cheap. I'll prolly just buy that and a harness and hit up PTuning soon.
