People with aftermarket cams (need help with valve lash opinion)
ok here it goes just wanted to know what happens either then performance and more noise, what happens if u leave the valve lash to loose. Reason i am asking is because when i got the exhaust cam from brain crower it did not come with any info. Today cleaning my garage i found my old cams in the brain crower box and found a sheet that says 00.8 for intake and 0.10 for exhaust. Now the problem i am having is that i already brought new cam follower and put the cylinder head to the OEM specs and gave the head to Mike at boost works. Main question is will i have a problem. Also here are the oem specs.
Valve clearance (Cold):
0.19 to 0.29 mm (0.0075 to 0.0114 in.) for intake
0.30 to 0.40 mm (0.0118 to 0.0158 in.) for exhaust
and here is the brian crower paper.

also just a heads up i kept things on the loose side so when the the seats wear everything should be within tolerance. this is was i was taught in school and i have done this on my motorcycles.
as of now on the intake side each one is .010 and my exhaust side is in between 0.135 and 0.14 this is with the brain crower cams
