Tapping the pan is easy. Turbonetics even provides the tap you need. There is no welding required...

On my lex, we didn't even need to remove the pan.... drilled the hole, used the tap, ran some oil through to remove any possible shavings, then put the fitting in. pretty easy

The odds are very good. If you use some grease on the tap while tapping the threads it will hld onto most of the shavings..Everything else can be blown out with compressed air..

The Unichip will not throw a CEL for the lack of a cat if thats what you are asking. As for the oil I think maybe we are mis-understanding each other. When you drill and tap the oil return you drop the lower oil pan and drill and tap it with some grease to collect most of the shavings. Then you blow out the hole with air. Install the fitting and then re-install the lower pan

No war starting here. When I have the install instructions I'll post them and you'll see what I mean.

my kits a few miles away at the moment"at storage." so maybe tomarrow or maybe miaplaya will have them up by then...but since it took so long to get the videos up it might be a week or to..just kidding... in the meen time i think you should know that the kits installation process is simple but yet correct....and everything needed to install the kit is coming along with the turbo kit and its all in the same box...
